Long day yesterday which really drained me & Mr. Lew of our energy when we got home. We were at OL from 1400 right all the way to nearly 1900. (5 whole hrs can u imagine?!)
Reason being:
Our TV delivery was scheduled from 1400 to 1600 hence we had to die die be there at that time.
But glad our time wasnt wasted though cos we met up with some other residents that I befriended on OL's forum. Went visiting each others unit and checked each other's defects.
Our fengshui master came at around 1530 and the whole analysis of our house took approx. 3 hours! Very detailed and a really funny guy i must say. Now, that's when i say its money well spent cos his charges are really not cheap at all.
Bad news is that our renovation costs are gonna go up and up and up cos we have to shift the wiring to the middle of the living room cos the tube and home theatre system HAS to be there. And we have to add 2 shelvings at the recess area of our living room. And that's not all, the best part is that the house has to be GREEN in colour.
(OOOMMMMFFFFGGGGGG!!)
Sigh! But what to do? Consultation of a fengshui master is as such.
Headed back to Mr. Lew's parents house in the evening to discuss with dad-in-law about the false ceiling, carpentry and painting works. Will get Mr. Lew to submit the defects list on Monday since dad-in-law is okay with us checking the defects in the house. Hope FCL developer rectifies it within a week so that I can start my renovation works asap, and since there are only 14 minor defects. Thank God that Mr. Lew is on 2 weeks leave starting from June's 2nd half cos I won't be able to take time off to supervise the ongoing renovations.
Oh yes. Master Tan told us that we can only move in during the month of July. So guys, I'm sorry..the housewarming party will be delayed further.
Gonna bring Mum (mine) to visit OL in a while. After I get Mr. Lew to wake up from his deep slumber, that is. Heading down to Balestier to buy our lamps. And we can finally get exact quotes for our curtains cos I finally got down to measuring them last evening. (Heh heh.) Maybe to Takashimaya as well, to buy our pots and pans.
