Check this good news out guys.
Hope this will really really happen soon.

Am i the only one who thinks Khelil sounds sarcastic in his, "They always want to make sure..............to satisfy the demand" comment when asked if OPEC sld cut production.

Im so unhappy for Mr Lew.

Why is it that there are people who think that you sld do more and extra work if you're getting more salary than the rest? The amount of salary is determined by the years of experience you have and minorly, your age too.

And throwing your weight around & getting your colleagues into trouble just to save your sorry arse isnt gonna help much in gaining the likings of your colleagues, albeit the management might.

A good leader delegates work when it is deemed necessary to and not keeping all the work near your chest until you can't breathe no more, and heave all the blame to the people around you when you cant finish it. Perhaps some good management and leadership courses should be held soon.

The 2008 Olympics is nearing. So is the 2008 Politics.

Well as they all say;
let the games begin.

Have finished compiling my notes for FM theory. Still have FM calculations and PPS theory. Started a little on M5. Theres so much to cover. Wonder if i'll be able to pass on the 1st attempt. Sigh. Stressed up.

Zero sales till now. And zero sales till the end of my exams. Sigh. Doubt i'll be able to deposit as much as this month, in The Lews joint account.
=(

I am home alone.
And why am i home alone?
Bcos Mr. Lew has gone home.
And why has Mr Lew gone home?
Bcos he has to accompany his family for a night.

Alone for the first time in our new home. Poor Mrs Lew.
.
.
Hectic weekend.
.
SG govt increasing the bonus for making babies. Wrong track they're on, dont you think? The people think about the long-term financial concerns they will be bearing for the kid, not the short-term effects. So i guess even giving double the current $3K-for-first-child isnt gonna help change the minds of couples. Much.
.
Well unless of course, they're gonna prepare a large sum of money thats gonna last for a perpetuity and slowly liquidate the principal monthly/annually. But we all know thats not ever gonna happen, do we?
.
So ladies, let's all get pregnant shall we?
.
.
Exams are in 10 days.
My study leave isnt approved.
Reminded how much i hate my job AGAIN.

The stock market movements tickle me nowadays. Monitoring the Dow; crawling bit by bit for a consecutive of 3 days to 116 hundred and see it fall by over 200 points this morning.

Just what is really happening?

We live in a weird world full of mini W's.

I really hate it when i shop on impulse.
And even when i'm not around to see the tangible good. Damn.

Story goes like this:
Knew that my gf, WL was heading to get some shopping done this evening and i asked her to get this bag for me cos i din manage to convince myself to get it yesterday. Turned out that the design and color i wanted was completedly sold out and the white-colored one was the only one left.

I kinda dislike white-colored bags but i still got her to buy it for me cos i just couldnt stand the thought of losing whatever i felt i was losing. And now, i dont even want to take a 2nd glance at the bag.

Will be bringing it back to the shop to try my luck, see if i can change it for another design. Oh gosh. I really hate myself sometimes. Mr Lew nearly went bonkers when he heard about this an hr ago. But oh well, whats done cannot be undone.

Did some online shopping with Sis.
Pretty clothes and bags make my day.
=)

The Lews will be heading to open their joint account this Saturday.
Smooth.

Eyeing on a particular Chanel bag. Might get it on Saturday. Alright, i know Mr Lew is gonna hop around when he sees this. But but but but i love it! Or maybe i'll be a good girl and get it next month.
We'll see. =D

Goodnight world.

Mr Lew frying our eggs after I finished with the rice and pig

Food for the night.
No dining table yet. So we had to use the empty box as one.
.
.
2 awesome movies caught by the Lews over the weekend.
-> Dark Knight aka Batman
( You totally gotta catch this movie! Joker's a crazy arse! )

-> Red Cliff
( Me thinks Guan Yu is so so so damn cool. )

Celebrated En En's No. 2 yesterday. Bought a still-too-large denim jumper from ELLE and a soft toy for her. She's just so cute lah. And once again, Grandma-in-law repeated that En En likes me alot.
(Muahahaha.)

Dining set and Room 2's bed is arriving this weekend. Major house-cleaning as well cos we're gonna be staying there frm Sat onwards. But but but..lotsa things not done yet. Sigh. Busy busy busy.

Major exams in less than 2 weeks.

Update:

Just had my yong-tau-foo lunch. I think the handmade fishballs are really nice. That delightful taste brings me back to my primary school days.

And it made me ponder;
"How nice it would be if a time-machine was invented to bring me back to the carefree days when all that mattered were recess times, overseas trips during sch holidays, pencil cases, Enid Blytons and whether-she-friends-you-or-not."

Has it really been more than a dozen years?
.
.

I loathe my job.
Awfully unhappy nowadays.
I want something that will make me smile again.

I want to be like how i used to be.
I want to do extreme things again.
Maybe buy a plane ticket outta SG for a few days; alone. And speak of my plans in whispers so that no one can hear it. Call home only when i've arrived in the foreigns.

She needs a new job.
So does she need a new life.
And she's gonna stop frowning behind her smiles from now on.

(Read: 16 July 08's earlier post)

Another surprise from Mr Lew.

Only wanted to listen to my current highs and i nearly teared after absorbing his post.

And we might be owners of SG's most famous fish head steamboat stall in the future. You'll never know eh?
.
.
Shorttalk:
From now on, no matter how winding the roads and challenges, no matter how big storms are, Mr Lew will always be protecting Mrs Lew.

You know that some parts of you are missing when you wake up at 2am and feel weird being alone.

I was thinking the other day that if I ever retired young and rich, I might jolly well operate a Fish Head Steamboat stall to kill time.

New blog song. Again.

Something that Mr. Lew likes.
He's always humming and trying to sing along with it unsuccessfully whenever its spinnin' on 91.3FM

New blog song = my current high.

40% done with my PPS assignment. Down with approx. 1200 words and another 1800 to go. Have less than a month to my major exams. Oh geez. I seriously need to revise but I'm so damn busy. Eeeps!

"How's the move-in?" my friends ask me. Well, pretty alright, just that the new pillows are somewhat uncomfortable cos they're a tad too fluffy. Air-con takes a damn long time to cool the room and its seriously not strong enough; so damn annoying bcos i can't live without air-con at all. We love our MBR bathroom though. Both of us agreed that its similar to Ritz Carlton's and this means we don't have to check-in to the Ritz to enjoy the luxury no more. I've strangely mutated into a PT housewife, mopping the floor at least once and maximum twice a day. The bad part about staying next to the PIE and a new house; it gets powdery so quickly! Can anyone tell me what to do about this issue or are we to just live with it?

Mr. Lew: "After we've adapted and settled down in the new house with the dining set and all that, let's start planning the next major thing."

Just what on earth is he referring to???
Make a guess.
=D

http://sg.news.yahoo.com/cna/20080710/tap-295-singapore-face-round-inflation-f-231650b.html

What's this?

Unbelievable.
Singapore's FINANCE Minister discouraging domestic companies to raise salaries to curb inflation? Wow. He must think we earn as much as him.

Well, we probably do.
In his dreams, that is.

Time to wake up, Mr. Tharman Shanmugaratnam.

Boy, am I bushed!

Finally completed my PPS assignment powerpoint slides 20 mins ago. Was working on it since 4pm this late noon, so that makes a full 6 hours of staring at my computer screen and using up a fraction of my brain cells. Elated that i've completed but, on the other hand, sad to remind myself that I still have Part 2; a 3000 words essay that i have to submit by the 17th of July.
Sigh!

Have booked my M5 exam by the way. Set it on the last week of August cos after i saw the study guide, it was definitely necessary for me to cater much more time to digest all the info.

Tomorrow's our auspicious 'move-in' day!
The Lews will be spend a night staying over at their new home albeit the missing dining table.

Attending Em's baby shower this Saturday.

It's mid-week. Another day to TGIF. Bear with it people!
=)

So happy!
Passed the M8 (Collective Investment) exam today!
On my 1st attempt!

Anyway, loads of pictures as promised!

Living area curtains (brownish)

a little on the pinkish side (spare bedroom)

blackout curtains for our MBR

rice cooker
(i totally have zero idea on how to use it.)

hope this iron can ease the creases of Mr. Lew's shirts easily

and yet another bedsheet
Mr. Lew says i'm obsessed with bedsheets. -_-

It was cleaning and cleaning and cleaning for the past wkends!

until my 2-day-old manicure turned out like this....

Decking done up by Dad-in-law

They're here!

The other day we brought Baby Ernie out, together with Granny-in-law, Mum-in-law and Sis-in-law, to pick our dining set and the spare bedroom's bed. She was totally glued to me; sleeping or sitting.
Felt like a Mum that day! Haha.

she insisted on wearing my watch! so cute!

You know your husband is longing for a kid real badly when he makes you squeeze into a helicopter meant for KIDS ONLY. Can you believe that the whole of me is actually inside it?

Will have to rush out my PPS assignment slides in the next 2 days for my presentation on Thursday evening. Gonna book either M5 or M9 or CHI on Wednesday, will probably set the exam date after the 2nd week of August cos I'm really packed with too many things for the next few weeks. Sigh!

Mr Lew, your wife needs a break after everything.
So watcha gonna do?

http://sg.news.yahoo.com/cna/20080701/tap-357612-231650b.html

Shouldnt the government be more concerned over the welfare of its people rather than imposing fines on every single thing they can think of?

Have they not heard the cries of the populace that the exiguous amount of GST credits is not enough to cover the rising inflation and prices? Seriously, by publishing the combination of the total amount that is given out does not make it seem that they are giving out alot, because everyone knows how much they are given as an individual. Perhaps they should think more in depth to the peoples' problems rather than just trying to solve things on the surface.

Alright.
I know i have not been blogging for a considerable long length of time. No time to upload photos as well. Been so busy with work and the revision of my M8 exam that is brisk walking towards and will finally reach me this coming Monday.

Update of what's gonna happen the next few days:
Fri: Gas switch-on between 4pm - 6pm
Sat: Delivery of fridge, washer cum dryer and bed
Sun: Moving of the furniture and misc. items by Mr Lew and Timo
Mon: My M8 exam
Thurs: Auspicious move-in date & presentation of PPS assignment

Will be heading to IKEA's annual sale ( so darn annoying that such a huge sale is here when you have almost bought every single thing already. ) with Mr. Lew this Sat after all the deliveries to finish all the necessary purchases. As well as to Giant to buy oil, rice, sugar, salt, etc etc etc for our auspicious move-in this coming July 10th.
